Überblick
Der Strand von Akliman erstreckt sich als schmales Sandband über Kilometer, 15 bis 20 Meter breit, 9 Kilometer westlich des Stadtzentrums von Sinop. Dahinter liegt der gut ausgestattete Picknickplatz Akliman, und hier reicht der Wald an einer Küste vom Riatyp bis ans Meer.
