Resumen
Las casas antiguas de Uşak suelen ser de dos plantas, la inferior de piedra y la superior de madera. Presentan los rasgos de la arquitectura doméstica otomana y se han puesto bajo protección para que no se pierda el tejido histórico.
Los barrios por los que conviene pasear son Aybey, Karaağaç, Kurtuluş e Işık, donde las casas antiguas se encuentran en buen número; empiezan en las calles traseras detrás del edificio del ayuntamiento y se puede llegar a ellas a pie.
