Resumen
La mezquita del centro de Sulakyurt fue construida en el siglo XV por Şeyh Şamil. Ha sufrido daños en diversas ocasiones, y las reparaciones posteriores le han quitado parte de su carácter arquitectónico.
El mausoleo contiguo, en un terreno más alto, pertenece al fundador del distrito y lo visitan con frecuencia personas de Türkiye y del extranjero. La fuente recoge que Evliya Çelebi lo describe —Hamza era su verdadero nombre— como un hombre respetado.
