Resumen
La iglesia se utiliza hoy como fábrica de aceite de oliva. Se encuentra en el centro de Ayvalık, rodeada de casas y callejuelas.
Tiene un nombre doble. Construida en piedra con columnas jónicas en el siglo XIX, es la iglesia de Fenoremeni; los cristianos ortodoxos la llaman Ayazma, por el agua bendita que hay en su interior.
