Resumen
Este edificio, dentro del recinto amurallado de Karadeniz Ereğli, fue construido por los bizantinos como iglesia de Hagia Sophia, la Santa Sabiduría, y tras convertirse en mezquita pasó a llamarse Orhan Gazi o Mezquita Central.
Se encuentra en el barrio de Orhanlar, en el centro de Karadeniz Ereğli, a cinco minutos a pie del puerto y a diez de la estación de autobuses.
