Resumen
El valle de Pülümür se extiende entre montañas altas y escarpadas, y lo define el arroyo Pülümür que lo recorre. El arroyo baja de las montañas de Pülümür, nace a unos veinte kilómetros al norte de la carretera Tunceli-Pülümür y llega hasta Pülümür, para unirse al Munzur en Tunceli.
Fluye por un valle estrecho y empinado cuyas laderas están cubiertas en ambas orillas de un bosque denso, y la carretera entre Tunceli y Pülümür lo sigue.

- Across Tunceli as a whole, monthly mean temperatures run from -1.8 °C in January to 27.1 °C in July; the mean stays between 15 and 25 °C in May, June and September; rainfall is heaviest in December (133 mm) and lightest in August (5 mm). Long-term means for 1960-2025 from the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM).
