Resumen
Kefe se encuentra en la carretera asfaltada que une Yatağan con algunas de las aldeas del distrito de Honaz, en Denizli. Está a 1.100 metros de altitud, entre pinos negros, pinos rojos y enebros.
El municipio completó la infraestructura y las construcciones —electricidad, agua, zonas de tiendas y de pícnic, aseos, duchas, un restaurante, una tienda, una carnicería y diversas instalaciones deportivas— y la meseta sirve al turismo interno desde el año 2000.
Aquí se celebran actos durante la primera semana de agosto de cada año. Yatağan ocupa por sí misma un lugar importante en la fabricación de cuchillos, y la localidad lo refuerza junto a su turismo cada agosto con el festival del cuchillo y de la meseta de Kefe.

- At the forty-fifth kilometre of the Denizli–Antalya road turn east at Serinhisar and go eight kilometres to Yatağan; pass through the town and the plateau is six kilometres further. Minibuses run direct from the Denizli coach station, hourly in summer and every two or three hours in winter.

- Across Denizli as a whole, monthly mean temperatures run from 6 °C in January to 27.5 °C in July; the mean stays between 15 and 25 °C in May, June, September and October; rainfall is heaviest in January (90 mm) and lightest in August (11 mm). Long-term means for 1957-2025 from the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM).
