atlas_theme remembers your theme (light or dark) and atlas_locale your language; each is kept for one year.
Both are read only by this site. We use no advertising, measurement or profiling cookies.
Browser storage
Your theme choice is also kept in your browser's local storage (atlas_theme), so the page can apply it before it has finished loading. If you use My guidebook or the Passport, the places you save and the stamps you collect are kept in local storage as well (ty-rehberim, ty-pasaport). They stay on your device; when you open your guidebook or passport page, the list is sent in the page address only to build that page and is not stored.
Session storage holds a single timestamp (tk_parca_yenile) that lets a page reload itself once if part of it fails to load just after the site has been updated. It disappears when you close the tab.
Why there is no consent banner
These cookies and storage items are needed for choices you made yourself and are not used to track you, so the site does not show a cookie banner. If we ever add anything that is not strictly functional, we will ask first.
If you want to delete them
You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. The site keeps working, but your theme and language return to the default. Deleting site data also deletes the places saved in My guidebook and the stamps in your Passport, because they are kept nowhere else.
