This is a private museum of cameras in Bakirköy, built on what its founder Hilmi Nakipoğlu collected: some 900 cameras of various makes and sizes, beginning with one built in 1896 and running to the present day, along with photographs and photographic materials.
The collection covers studio cameras both portable and fixed, twin-lens cameras, spy or miniature cameras, cameras taking Leica film and cameras taking Polaroid film, as well as film — roll film above all — and accessories. It is on the fourth floor of the Nefus Nakipoğlu school for children with intellectual disabilities, at Osmaniye Caddesi No: 18/B, and is reached by İETT bus and by minibus.
