This museum in Bağcılar opened in 2014 inside a memorial park, and it is built for walking through rather than reading off labels. The reconstructions include a stretch of trench from the Çanakkale front, the interior of the minelayer Nusret, and a version of the Aynalı Çarşı; among the set pieces are a standard-bearer sculpture, an installation of soil brought from the places where soldiers died, a model of the Çanakkale memorial, a lead separation display, a model of Gallipoli, a diorama of the battles with a narration, seven sculptures, a realist figure of Seyit Onbaşı, a touch screen listing the dead, and a recorded reading of a soldier's letter. Original material from the campaign is shown alongside. There is a conference and theatre hall inside.
The park around the museum is dedicated to the dead of both Çanakkale and Sarıkamış, laid out with a Gallipoli square, a Sarıkamış square and a path of the fallen. Four relief walls carry scenes from the fighting, and there are images from the War of Independence and a sculpture of Şerife Bacı with her oxcart. The grounds run to about seven hectares, most of it open air. Entry to both the park and the museum is free, and they are open six days a week, closed on Sundays.
