The Mençuna waterfall lies in the Arhavi district of Artvin. Near it stands a wooden bridge built in memory of the beekeeper İlyas Can, who lived from 1954 to 2012.
Getting there
Cross the Çiftekemer bridge and turn first onto the Küçükköy road. That road follows the stream for a stretch and then turns left, away from it; for the waterfall, do not take the turning but keep to the stream. About twenty minutes' drive along the stream — the surface of this stretch is somewhat rough — brings you to the first tea collection point, where you leave the vehicle and cross the suspension bridge. From there the fall is reached by a twenty-minute walk up 407 steep stone steps. The route is maintained each year for walkers.
