Ortaburun Tabiat Parkı covers 152.67 hectares within the boundaries of Ortaburun village in the Çınarcık district of Yalova, declared on 7 April 2023 and named after the village beside it. It lies inside forest land, taking in forest clearings and a pond.
That pond, the Ortaburun göleti, covers about 14 hectares — roughly a tenth of the park — and it together with its surroundings is what gives the place its character. The trees recorded are beech, plane, poplar, willow and pine, and walking through the forest is what the site offers.
Nothing has been built yet. The development plan is being prepared, and the buildings and facilities, along with the day-use, tent, caravan and parking capacities, will be set out in the site plan drawn up from it.
The park is 17 kilometres from Yalova and 11 from Çınarcık. All the roads to it are asphalt, and there are two approaches, both passing through Ortaburun village: about 6 kilometres from Çınarcık to the park's northern boundary, or about 3 kilometres from Termal. No public transport reaches any part of the area.
