Guide
The Selçik mineral springs, nine kilometres from Osmaneli, pour from four separate fountains. The water is cool, between 15 and 20 °C, and rich in sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and sodium sulphate; together the sources give about a litre a second. The provincial culture and tourism directorate describes it as good for stomach, liver, gall bladder, intestinal and urinary complaints, and as effective in dissolving and passing kidney and bladder stones.
