The Yeni Cami in the centre of Zonguldak was built in the early twentieth century: two storeys of stone and brick under plaster, with three entrances and an open ablution fountain directly below the main one.
Inside, the mihrab faces the entrance with the minbar to its left. The mihrab, the minbar and part of the walls on the lower floor are faced with tiles worked in plant and geometric patterns, and the ceiling is wood. A minaret with a single balcony stands immediately to the right of the mosque. It is on İsmet Paşa Sokak in the Mithatpasa quarter.
