Resumen
Se cree que la madrasa Şehidiye de Mardin fue construida a principios del siglo XIII (13.º) por el sultán artúquida Melik Nasreddin Artuk Aslan. La planta es la habitual —un patio con pórticos e iwanes, y un mescit de dos naves en el lado sur—, pero se han hecho tantas reformas, reparaciones y añadidos que poco del original se conserva.
Su minarete se había derrumbado y fue reconstruido en 1916–17.

Long-term means for 1940-2025 from the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM).
