Kadıpınarı lies in the Akdağ forests northwest of Akdağmadeni, two kilometres from the district town. The forest spreads over a wide area and holds pine, oak and other species, with cold clean water and a good deal of game.
The site has forest rest facilities run under the General Directorate of National Parks, along with tourist accommodation and a deer breeding farm. Access is by road.
