Burç Nature Park lies in the Çamtepe neighbourhood of Şahinbey, on the Gaziantep side of the city, and its day-use area is laid out for an outing rather than a wilderness walk: there are walking paths, sports pitches, a children's play area and picnic units spread across the grounds.
For a longer stay the park has a country café, a snack kiosk, a gift stand, drinking fountains, toilets and a car park. The Ministry of Education lists the site as an outdoor learning venue for school groups, which gives an idea of how busy the picnic areas can be on weekdays.
