Guide
Çatak's hot spring rises near Himmetoğlu village, in a valley between steep slopes 30 km southeast of Göynük. The water, at 32 °C, contains calcium bicarbonate, and the provincial directorate says it helps rheumatism and sciatica. Remains nearby suggest it has been used since Roman times.
