Two tomb towers stand side by side at Ahlat, and unlike most of the group here the people buried in them are named.
The larger belongs to Bugatay Aka of the Akkoyunlu and to Şirin Hatun; the smaller to Esen Tekin Hatun. Inscriptions on the southern and western faces give the date as 1280.
