The falls are in a valley closed by mountains on three sides, its bounds forest and steep rock, with the highest ground in the use area at 1,430 metres. The park covers 17 hectares and was declared on 11 July 2011.
It lies at the Çaglayan quarter of the Derebağ township, ten kilometres south-west of Yahyalı in Kayseri — a place the source describes as one of those where the Mediterranean region ends and Inner Anatolia begins, where the central Taurus reaches towards the Anatolian plateau. It is open 08:00 to 22:00, with capacity for 300 visitors and 50 vehicles.
