The Golan springs are at Yogunagac village, west of Karakoçan in Elazığ province, beside the Peri stream, and they draw thousands of visitors a year.
According to the reports of the analyses carried out on the water, cited by the provincial directorate, the springs are said to be beneficial in the treatment of rheumatism, neuritis and polyneuritis, fractures and dislocations, gynaecological conditions and skin complaints. The springs are eighteen kilometres from Karakoçan.
