The Hamza Rüstem Photograph House Museum was opened by Karşıyaka Municipality in 2011. What it holds is the archive and collection of the Hamza Rüstem photography studio, one of the oldest in İzmir, reaching back about a hundred years.
On display are original cameras, photographs, photographic ephemera and a range of materials and equipment. There is also a room of personal belongings of Hamza Rüstem himself, a historical studio set up as an ethnographic interior, a gift counter, a mobile camera, and a statue of Hamza Rüstem.
