Terebinth is a small tree, which is what makes the two protected in İzmir province worth comparing. The one at Teos is 50 to 55 years old and four metres tall; this one, at Kadınlar Kuyusu in Foça district, is 600 years old and 16 metres, with a trunk 2.33 metres across and 7.30 metres in girth.
The 2.5 decares around it were declared a natural monument in 1995; the area record dates that to 1 January, which suggests only the year is known. The general condition of the tree is recorded as good, and no reason for the registration is given.
Capacity is 60 visitors and 20 vehicles, with hours of 07:00 to 21:00. The page does not explain the name, which means women's well.
