Guide

Haruniye Kaplıcası stands among trees on the bank of the Ceyhan river, at the foot of Düdül Dağı within the village of Kuşçu, 15 km north of Düziçi. The spa is 620 metres above sea level, where the reservoir of the Aslantaş Dam ends, and the Osmaniye Governorship singles out its fine views and clean air.

The water contains calcium, magnesium, sulphur, sulphate and bicarbonate, with 4 mg/l of fluoride and 332 mg/l of carbon dioxide, and it is radioactive. The governorship lists it as especially good for rheumatic complaints, and as helpful for nervous and gynaecological conditions, liver and gall bladder problems, and stomach and bowel disorders.

Getting there

The spa is 57 km from Osmaniye city centre and 143 km from Adana. Osmaniye lies where the TEM motorway meets the D-400 highway, the railway passes through the city, and Adana and Gaziantep airports are about an hour away.
