The Korgan bridge crosses the Çoruh at Aksar village in the central district of Bayburt, on the historic Silk Road, and is known locally as the bridge of the melik. It belongs to the Seljuk period of the thirteenth or fourteenth century.
It has two spans with pointed arches; the arches and parapets are of finely dressed yellow stone and the rest is rubble laid with horasan mortar. The arch stands five metres from the water to the keystone. It is reached by road.
