Ömer Efendi Camii was built in 1404-05 by the man it is named after, but almost nothing of that building survives. It was renewed in 1872 with contributions from the townspeople, and the repairs made since have, in the directorate's own words, cost it its originality entirely: the body walls were pulled down and rebuilt.
What stands now is rectangular in plan, built of cut stone under a wooden roof. During the rebuilding of the walls and the roof the minaret was raised in part and partly enclosed within the roof; it has a round shaft and a single balcony.
