Resumen
El bosque urbano de İzmir ocupa 1.226 hectáreas y se encuentra a cuatro kilómetros del centro del distrito.
El pino de Calabria es el árbol más común. También crecen aquí el agracejo, el acebuche, el enebro, el plátano, el laurel, el brezo, el abeto, el ciprés azul, el mirto, el roble de Türkiye, el enebro rastrero y la adelfa.
Entre los animales que viven en el bosque hay buitre, gavilán, perdiz griega, halcón, jabalí, águila, perdiz chucar, marta, ardilla, liebre y zorro.
Para los visitantes hay una torre mirador, terrazas con vistas, aseos, parques infantiles, un carril bici, un sendero para caminar y zonas deportivas.
