Guide
Alangüllü's thermal baths sit in woodland on the lower slopes of Gümüş Dağı, an offshoot of the Aydın mountains inside the Büyük Menderes basin, 10 km north of Germencik.
The water is a mixed type, carrying sodium chloride and bicarbonate. The Ministry of Health licensed the spa to operate in 2004, and the facility has 126 rooms with 400 beds. The provincial directorate lists bathing here as a supporting treatment in the chronic stages of rheumatic and neurological conditions and for orthopaedic after-effects, and names rheumatism, other painful ailments and skin diseases among the complaints it is used for.
