Guide
Davutlar's thermal springs rise in the centre of the small town of Davutlar in Kuşadası district, 200 m above sea level, in green surroundings at the foot of a mountain. The provincial directorate names the Natur-Med spa at Davutlar as one of the two most important thermal centres in Aydın.
The thermomineral water is of a mixed fluoride type, and the directorate lists rheumatism, stress, sciatica, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and skin complaints such as vitiligo and eczema among the conditions it is used for. The facility has three thermal pools, two indoor and one outdoor, along with rows of private baths and two swimming pools.
The spa makes a good base for day trips: Ephesus, Meryem Ana (the House of the Virgin Mary), Priene and Miletus are all within a day's reach, as are Dilek Yarımadası National Park, Lake Bafa and the village of Şirince.
