The Bend-i Mahi Bridge carries the old Erciş–Tabriz caravan route over the Bend-i Mahi stream. There is no foundation inscription, but the provincial directorate states it was built by the Ilkhanid rulers at the end of the thirteenth century.
It is hard to get to now: the directorate notes it has been left far from the main road and from any settlement.
Two-coloured dressed stonework shows on the arch and the walls. Rubble-built walling was added in places during later repairs.

- Across Van as a whole, monthly mean temperatures run from -3 °C in January to 22.4 °C in July; the mean stays between 15 and 25 °C in June, July, August and September; rainfall is heaviest in April (55 mm) and lightest in August (6 mm).
