The mosque standing in Bolu's Büyükcami quarter today is not the one Bayezid I built. His mosque of 1382 burned in 1899, and the present building was put up in its place.
It has twin minarets and a single dome, and the provincial directorate points to the painted decoration inside it.
The same patron's mosque of the same year at Mudurnu, in this province, does survive; that is a different building.
