Çiftmazi covers 90 hectares in the central district of Osmaniye, on the surfaced road up to the Zorkun plateau. The directorate gives the day-use area as ten kilometres from the city centre and the park itself as three.
Most visitors arrive by private car. Osmaniye itself is 97 kilometres from Adana, 104 from Kahramanmaraş, 127 from Hatay and 134 from Gaziantep. It has capacity for 1,250 visitors and 120 vehicles.

- Across Osmaniye as a whole, monthly mean temperatures run from 8.9 °C in January to 28.7 °C in August; the mean stays between 15 and 25 °C in April, May and October; rainfall is heaviest in March (116 mm) and lightest in August (10 mm).
