Dikilitaş nature park covers 33.5 hectares in the Bozyazı district of Mersin, five kilometres from Bozyazı and nine from Anamur. The Mersin-Antalya D-400 road runs along its northern edge, and the way in and out is from that road.
It has capacity for 300 visitors, 25 vehicles and 300 tents — the tent figure being as large as the visitor figure tells you what the park is used for.

- Across Mersin as a whole, monthly mean temperatures run from 10.4 °C in January to 28.5 °C in August; the mean stays between 15 and 25 °C in April, May, October and November; rainfall is heaviest in December (137 mm) and lightest in August (7 mm). Long-term means for 1929-2025 from the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM).
