Kuyuluk nature park lies in the Mezitli district of Mersin, ringed by farmland, houses and red pine forest. It covers just under twenty hectares.
The Kuyuluk quarter is 2.5 kilometres to its south-east, Mezitli four and Mersin fifteen; the Adana highway passes 600 metres to its east. It has capacity for 1,500 visitors and 63 vehicles.
The roads around the park are worth sorting out before you set off. The O-51 Adana-Erdemli motorway passes 600 metres to the east, the D-400 Mersin-Antalya road six kilometres to the south, and the Mersin-Fındıkpınarı provincial road along the northern boundary — and it is that last road by which visitors enter and leave the park. By air the park is 80 kilometres from the Çukurova regional airport, 286 from Antalya Gazipaşa and 460 from Antalya, which the directorate counts as an advantage for tourism in the area.

- Across Mersin as a whole, monthly mean temperatures run from 10.4 °C in January to 28.5 °C in August; the mean stays between 15 and 25 °C in April, May, October and November; rainfall is heaviest in December (137 mm) and lightest in August (7 mm). Long-term means for 1929-2025 from the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM).
