Göldagi was a B-type picnic ground from 1993 until it became a nature park on 11 July 2011. Its size is given as 13.64 hectares in the data field and 13.47 in the text.
It sits apart from the villages around it: Kalafatlı to the east, Sapça to the west, Keller to the south, Tasçili to the south-east and Güdüllü to the north-east, each at least 1.75 kilometres away. It is 32.2 kilometres from Zonguldak and 11.6 from Çaycuma, with capacity for 50 visitors.
