The Görkemli oak stands at 900 metres in Gökçealan village, Türkeli district of Sinop province, and was declared a natural monument on 6 November 1994. It is a sessile oak given as 350 years old, 25 metres tall, 1.59 metres in trunk diameter and 5.00 metres in girth.
The site is managed directly by the administration rather than a concessionaire. Capacity is 100 visitors and 10 vehicles.
