The roof of this church has fallen in and the rest of it is only partly sound. It stands at Koyunbaba, a village 15 kilometres from the centre of Kırklareli where Bulgarians and Turks lived together in the Ottoman period.
It was open for the worship of the Christian Bulgarians of the village while they lived there. After they left in the exchange of 1924 it was used for a time as a mill, and then left to itself. It carries the architectural features of the second half of the nineteenth century: faced in regular dressed stone, with the corner stones worked in frames.
