The Little Church inside the castle at Amasra has been restored and is in use as a culture and arts house; before that it served for a period as a mosque.
It is rectangular in plan, its walls built of rubble stone, brick and reused material. The narthex is four-sided and in three bays, covered with cross vaults, and traces of frescoes remain on the walls. The apse is semicircular both inside and out.
