The site is a hill of 30 to 40 metres beginning where the vineyards end, north of the Kurukastel spring, three kilometres west of Kilis as the crow flies.
The provincial directorate records that the hill is an archaeological settlement and nothing more — no period, no finds, no excavation and no description of what the settlement was.
