The museum belongs to the Sebilürreşad Culture and Art Centre in Ulus, Ankara. The centre occupies a historic building that stood neglected for many years and was restored for this purpose.
Inside, the magazine gives the place its subject: the museum is built around Sebilürreşad, the Islamic journal of the late Ottoman and early republican years, and it shares the building with an exhibition hall and other units of the centre.
