The Sögütlük city forest is a picnic ground on the bank of the Meriç, two kilometres from Edirne on the Karaagaç road, covered with tall trees.
There are casinos, restaurants, children's playgrounds, tea gardens and places offering entertainment and sport. It is reached by city transport.
