Tekkoz Kengerlidüz is a nature conservation area of 2,425 dönüm made up of two separate parts in two provinces: Tekkoz lies within the Erzin district of Hatay, and Kengerlidüz within the central district of Osmaniye.
What it protects is unusual. The beech stands here are, in the Directorate's words, the southernmost in the world, and they form a rare and singular forest ecosystem. Beech and Türkiye oak are the species named.
The main approach is the Adana–Hatay E-91 road through Erzin, which is 108 kilometres from Antakya and 43 from the neighbouring town of Dörtyol.
