Sebeterias castle is at Genç in the southwest. Northeast of the city lie the Zağ caves, the Kös hot springs and the Çır waterfall.
North again, at Adaklı and Kiğı, the Bağlarpınarı village mosque, the Arek monastery and the Balabanbey mosque stand close to one another — the tightest cluster here.
