The Akıncı Konak, a mansion of 1895 in Kilis, was built by Hacı Muhammed Efendi for his wife Vuslat Hanım and takes its present name from its owners. The adjoining building, later separated from it, served as the selamlik - the men's quarters - and this main building as the haremlik.
It is called the Akıncı Konak because the Akıncı family are its present owners. It holds twelve rooms, two kitchens, two large halls, two caves and two water wells.
