Akcurun is a quarter of Kilis rather than a single building: a historic street and the lanes around it, with a mosque and the Kilis Museum among them. In the speech of Kilis, curun means a basin or trough.
It is in the centre of the city and is easy to find by following the signs. The provincial directorate counts the area among the most important tourism centres of Kilis.
