The park lies east of the Aydıncık district, about two kilometres from the district centre and about 170 from Mersin. It stands on the eastern side of Aydıncık bay, looking towards the Aydıncık islands and the town, with the Gilindire cave to its east. It covers 23.7 hectares.
The natural vegetation is made up of Calabrian pine, myrtle, kermes oak, bay and spiny broom.
The fauna around the park includes the Mediterranean gull, the Mediterranean monk seal and various small reptiles.
