This private museum in the Gökçebey district of Zonguldak was created by Çanakçılar Seramik, the ceramics company operating there. The ground floor holds a showroom of the products made at the ceramics factory, and the archaeological and ethnographic objects are on the second floor.
The setting is unusual: the museum building stands within a large zoo holding a considerable number of domestic and wild animals, so a visit takes in both. It is at the entrance to Gökçebey, about seven minutes by taxi from the town centre and three minutes off the Ankara-Zonguldak road.
