The tower stands alone today: it was built as part of a mansion, and when that mansion burned down in a fire in 1948 only the tower was left.
It is a masonry building of the eighteenth century, raised to protect the Cihanoğulları family from raids. At the beginning of the nineteenth century it went through changes — a bath and a terrace were added — and in the early twentieth century stucco plaster ornament was applied.
