Diyadin is not one spa but four, spread apart over a wide area five kilometres from the district centre, south-east of Ağrı: the Yılanlı, Davut, Tunca and Köprü springs. The Murat river runs through the middle of that ground and is part of what makes the area worth seeing.
The source describes the thermal water as a source of healing for various complaints, on the grounds that it contains bicarbonate, chloride, sulphate, calcium and carbon dioxide gas, with a total mineralisation of one gram per litre. Local transport reaches the area.
