This is not a built bridge: it is a natural one, formed in rock worn away over time by the river, in the valley of the Murat in the Diyadin district of Ağrı.
Green valleys, hot springs and striking rock formations surround it, and the Diyadin spa is nearby; the area suits walking, photography and camping. In Evliya Çelebi's book of travels the bridge appears under the name Germ'ab-i İbretnüma.
